Background

I obtained my undergraduate degree at the University of Glasgow before undertaking a MScR  at the University of Edinburgh in Reproductive Sciences. I pursued my PhD at the University of Aberdeen where I looked at sex differences and the role of sex hormones in healthy human monocytes and macrophages. I am currently working within the Edward-Hicks lab group investigating the role of lipid metabolism in T cell ageing.
